During his time at Yahoo! (2003 - 2009), Jonathan was Vice President Corporate Development, responsible for Yahoo!'s M&A/Integration and its 40 acquisitions and JVs.  Yahoo! achieved successful returns on 65% of these acquisitions, exceeding market averages of 20-40% success rates for growth and innovation deals.

During his tenure at Yahoo!, Jonathan also started and ran the eBay business across Yahoo! from 2006-2007, which grew from start-up to $100m in revenues in 24 months

Prior to Yahoo!, Jonathan was a management consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Silicon Valley from 1994-2003.  He focused on strategy, operational effectiveness and M&A across hi tech, software, digital media, consumer products, energy, healthcare and financial services sectors.  He worked for some of the world's premier companies in these industries, on US and global engagements.  He also ran M&A for the US region. 

Jonathan is a native of Dublin, Ireland, where he attended Commerce at University College Dublin and received an MBS from the Smurfit School of Business at UCD.

Jonathan is affiliated with the Irish Network San Francisco and the Irish Technology Leadership Group in Silicon Valley, and also works closely with Enterprise Ireland in the Bay Area to advise their clients on strategy, operational scaling, regional go to market efforts, partnerships and M&A.
